Please help me critique a fellow soldiers resume

Hey Guys,

I'm going to attach a couple of resumes that two of my Soldiers wanted me to look over. I'm not the best at this so I decided that I should come to the best for help. They're both great kids and they really deserve better opportunities in the civilian world. Thank you!

    Couple of quick observations:

First please do not post real names on this forum.

Is she currently in the Army, 2 of her job positions say Date - Present?

I have several resumes depending on who and how it is being distributed, a long one for career sites, a short one when I send it to a company and a military one. My military one is for DOD Contractors/ GS Jobs who understand military jargon and care for a clearance.

I would remove the specialist and use administrator. I personally do not like miscellaneous in a resume, either remove that line or change it to something more specific. I also tell my Airmen to look at their evaluations for accomplishments that can be added which normally include some budgetary number.

High School Diploma is not necessary and I would look at Word Resume Examples to make the resume look cleaner.

    Mitechniq,

I apologize for the name dropping. She is actually a reservist who's looking to break into the networking field on the private sector. Thank you for the comments.

Security clearance is buried under education... put that near or at the top of the resume.
