List of cybersecurity events in Australia

Does anyone here know if there is any website which lists all (or at least some) of the cybersecurity events/expos planned for this year in Australia? I know of one or two that list events based in the USA, but nothing for Australia.

I've been forced to do haphazard Google searches and have so far found only 3-4 events (one of them is only tangentially related to IT security) for the whole year.

Have you checked meetup.com? You can use general search terms to look for meetups - security or cyber will usually return results.

You might also try contacting some of the professors and/or students at any of the colleges/universities that offer education programs revolving around InfoSec/Cyber - I'm sure they're all very aware of conferences/events/etc... in your area.

Apart from SANs overpriced courses, nothing that I know of. There are few active local meetup groups.

I think there is CrikeyCon in Brisbane. I can try finding out and listing them.

I've checked on meetup.com and did find a lot more events that I was looking for. I guess it stands to reason that Australia would have less of such events than the US simply based on size.
