I used it but didn't find it very helpful. There's other free online guides that were much better.

Veeam hosts a solid Hyper-V 74-409 guide by Poulton.

Mastering vSphere 6 is a way better book.

Plus the new training videos on Pluralsight at top notch for VCP6, I just completed them Monday and been doing nothing but labbing now.
