Twist on Second Chance

Looks like Second Chance is back. See link below. You can buy a "booster pack" which is $50 US more than an exam. It gives you 4 retakes of the exam, for another $25 you can get 30 days of a online practice exam, not sure if they are any good though.

I wonder if they did anything to fight braindumps.
Also, I'd love to finally see hands on exams from MS done on a VM instead of a multiple choice, or in addition to multiple choice. -
nascar_paul Member Posts: 288 ■■■□□□□□□□Great information, and thanks for the heads up! I could have used this trying to power through the 411 last year. It's also an incentive for going full MCSE within the coming year if I can combine a test voucher from my employer with student discounts and pay the difference.2017 Goals: 70-411 [X], 74-409 [X], 70-533 [X], VCP5-DCV [], LX0-103 [], LX0-104 []

MariusRZR Member Posts: 92 ■■■□□□□□□□Ok, wait. This is useful for only one exam? It's 100$ in Romania and 200$ in the US. And the exam alone is 80 at Pearson=))
I wonder if I can use the remaining shots for 411 and 412
I mean, i'll pay the initial fee for 411 and 412, but if I fail, can i use the shots?:) -
aaronchristenson Member Posts: 261 ■■■■□□□□□□You can only use the vouchers for 1 exam. I think for an extra $50 it is worth it to have 4 extra chances at an exam. I will be able to take an exam just after having read all the material as a practice exam to see what areas I need to focus on and then get more chances to knock it out.Aaron

Piers Member Posts: 454 ■■■□□□□□□□Awesome that it's back so soon, I rode the last one right up until the final day for 411, and launched back into 410 to keep the hamster at the wheel moving, wasn't looking forward to waiting 8 months for a second shot (based on the forum, it doesn't seem like even that would be enough time to pass in one go).
4 retakes, that's a lot. Knowing my luck, I'll overprepare and pass on the first try lol. Reminds me of a pack they put out a few years ago, where you could buy 2, 3 or 4 vouchers for a lower price but if you passed a test the first try, you still had voucher codes to use on the next exam. They should make a hybrid second shot, I would pay an extra $100 or so for 4 retakes on multiple exams.:study: Office 365 70-347 / 698 later -
MariusRZR Member Posts: 92 ■■■□□□□□□□Well, i'll get the pack with Practice test for 120 bucks. Not bad. The exam alone was 80.

Who needs braindumps when you take an exam 5 times for $200! Almost makes me want to go for MSCA now... almost -
