So basically i work for a large organization here as a contractor (contract is through recruitmeent agency) My job title in my contract (with the agency) is Senior Systems Engineer.
In the organization the team i am in is a team of 9 people and all of our signatures it says Sys admin because that is the standarndard naming practice i guess.
This is what I do
Working in an large enterprise I was hired to do pure project based work.
Lead projects - AWS /AZURE - migratiation, Exchange Upgrade, Identity and Access Management.
Change request - On average perform 3 change request to the systems of the orgnization.
Escalation point of desktop team.
What should I put down as title?

Fortune 100 via Contract Company Senior Net Admin
You work for Contract Company and are on loan to Fortune 100 as a senior net admin“I do not seek answers, but rather to understand the question.” -

I think you could put either, but Senior Systems Engineer sounds better to me.2017 Goals - Something Cisco, Something Linux, Agile PM -

Everyone in our team has the title says admin, its just a name we R not real admins that patches servers and looks after servers we do those things plus much more.
We all lead projects and we are a hybrid of architects, sys eng, and sysadmins
We have people in our team that has been there for 12 plus years , 10 years and the title in the signature is sys admin its just a naming schema.
Job titles are honestly meaningless because titles vary from team to team and organization and this is a fine example of this. -
SaSkiller Member Posts: 337 ■■■□□□□□□□I put the position title as reported by the company and then if contracted out I subheader it, then I describe the duties. So for instance:
Information Security Engineer 3
Booz Allen Hamilton * US Central Intelligence Agency
Blah, nothing to do with engineering.
Most companies understand that titles are a weird thing in IT.OSWP, GPEN, GWAPT, GCIH, CPT, CCENT, CompTIA Trio. -
