my CCNA R&S going to be expire

hi guys,
my CCNA R&S is going to be expire. If now I pass only CCNP-Switch exam , before expiring my CCNA R&S. Will my CCNA R&S expiry date be as same as expiry date of CCNP Switch . or do I have to pass all three exams (Route/Switich/Tshoot) of CCNP, to extend the expiry date of my CCNA R&S?
I'm confused.
Please guide me.

CCNP Switch will renew your CCNA with the current pass date. Then you have 3 years to complete the Route and Tshoot exams or you lose everything.

if I complete all three exams of CCNP between from (today)23/03/2016 and 23/03/2019.
What do I have to do to keep my CCNP valid before reaching the date of 23/03/2019? if I do CCNA security exam , which is only one exam, for those who have passed ICND1. Will my CCNP be extended to 23/03/2022 (if I will pass CCNA security exam on 23/03/2019) ?

A CCNA will never renew a CCNP because a CCNP is a higher level exam.

The general rule is that to renew a CCENT/CCNA/CCNP you need to pass an exam at the same or higher level. To renew your CCNA, you only need to pass one CCNA or CCNP level exam. To renew your CCNP you need to pass one CCNP or CCIE level exam.

The CCNP SWITCH exam is probably the best option for renewing the CCNA R+S with a higher level exam, since it is usually the easiest first step into the CCNP R+S.

For recertifiying your CCNA R+S with an exam at the same level good options are CCNA Sec, CCNA Wireless, CCNA Industrial, or CCDA, since these will all also give you an additional certification with one exam.

Once you have CCNP R+S, then options for recertification are more work, since the other CCNP tracks assume CCNA level (and also require it to actually get the cert, unless you are CCIE or CCAr). Usually people will pursue another track after the CCNP R+S, like Collab or Wireless or Security. THere's also the option to just resit one of the CCNP R+S exams to recertify. Or if you are really brave, do the CCIE Written exam.

Just an FYI:

The other day (April 6, 2016) I passed my first CCNP exam (Route).

(300-101) Implementing Cisco IP Routing (ROUTE).

Now when I check the Cisco official site I find:

Recertified in CCNA - Recertification on Apr 6, 2016

In summary: YES passing ONE of the three CCNP exams will renew your CCNA certification.

I suspect, if what you are saying is correct, this is due to the CCNA Voice track being retired.

From Cisco:

CCNA Voice certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass ONE of the following before the certification expiration date:
Pass any current Associate-level exam except for ICND1 exam or

Pass any current 642-XXX Professional-level or any 300-XXX Professional-level exam, or

Pass any current 642-XXX Cisco Specialist exam (excluding Sales Specialist exams or MeetingPlace Specialist exams, Implementing Cisco TelePresence Installations (ITI) exams, Cisco Leading Virtual Classroom Instruction exams, or any 650 online exams), or

Pass any current CCIE Written Exam, or

Pass the current CCDE Written Exam OR current CCDE Practical Exam, or

Pass the Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr) interview AND the CCAr board review to extend lower certifications

When using a higher level of certification to extend other certifications, the expiration date of other certifications will extend to the expiration date of the higher certification (i.e.: If you have one year left on your CCNA Voice certification and you earn a CCIE certification (which has a two-year certification life) then both your CCIE certification and your CCNA Voice certification will expire two years from the date you achieved the CCIE certification).

My CCNA and CCENT were renewed with each CCNP exam I passed. Personally, I thought TSHOOT was the easiest of the three. You do need to know more topics (to know how to troubleshoot them), but you don't have to memorize the factoids like ROUTE and SWITCH.

Yeah, I guess it depends where you are starting from. If you were CCNP R+S and just recertifying, and active with Cisco networking, then TSHOOT probably would be a good choice. If it's your first ever CCNP exam, and you don't have a heap of experience, then SWITCH is probably better.
