F5 Certification

Does anyone have any F5 certifications? I tried searching and couldn't get anything to pop up. Employer wants me to learn a little bit about their products.

From my limited experience, I'll second F5 being a hot topic. When I worked at VMware and had to work with their networking departments, I'd cringe anytime I heard Netscaler, but F5 was always a bit of a relief. Seems like a good product with good support.

I have all of the ones currently available from F5 and will be participating in their 40x-level CSE Security Beta that will be running later this month into mid-May.

As for learning... I'd start by checking out F5 University. They have a bunch of free online courses. Here's a link to their list:

All of the courses are through university.f5.com which requires an F5 support account but you can register for a support account for free.

This came about because I was looking into it for work. Haven't gone to far with it though

I've been thrown into F5's recently, the F5.learn.com website has been fantastic so far. They even give you a lab with all the VM's you need to implement the training material.

I taught F5 for a brief time for Fishnet. Here is a link to their training structure. They took my instructor books though when I left

I completed exam 201 today. The Big IP certified administrator requires exams 101 and 201. F5 provides free study guides for these exams but they aren't enough, you'll need to work with the device in order to pass IMO. I've been working on them for about 4 years.
