Hi yesterday did practice exam for semester 3 and this question came up,hope image shows up,but basically what got me was the way arrows were positioned and question asked which ports are what,so looking at chart based on arrows-they are same as per exam, thus my answer was alternate, designated, designated, root. But of course it was incorrect and it was alt, designated, root, root.Even thou i knew that root bridge in such scenario has two root ports, and usually the corner left is alt thus in blocking state for stp,but what got me the arrow was pointing from b switch side which would meant that if sh ip stp was used that port would been as designated. This is full example image i recreated, except for numbering sequence-but not sure is it another netacad mistake or just misleading question with arrow pointing not from root, but away from switch B.any input appreciated as always.
