Hello guys,
im working on a university project and ive tried to create a basic large network that simulates HSRP between two sites, active and DR. i was just trying to simulate a ping between the two PCs between active and DR, i was then going to shut down some of the routers and through HSRP the packets should switch without an issue.
im having an issue when it comes to testing the network in simulation mode, its also recognisable when you tracert, it changes path between the routers and one hop fails before it compleates. HSRP has been enabled on the client side routers and OSPF as the routing protocol. could someone please have a look and see if they notice any issues? it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks all

pinkiaiii Member Posts: 216seems you have terms mistaken at first, its active and stanby,DR is for stp.
Second are your two networks on same vlan/subnet.
heres quick link to configuring hsrp:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Db0VfCnULxM&index=85&list=WL -

Unfortunately my version of packet tracer doesn't support your .PKT so I can't actually look at what you are trying to run. Perhaps a few diagrams would help. Also, what is the use case for setting up HSRP between the sites? I'm assuming that you are trying to provide WAN failover of some sort? And just as Pinkiaiii has asked, are you using more than one VLAN?
