Current company is in debt seriously. Doing really bad.
80k. No technical work. Manager is super nice.

Offered company 90k.
Healthcare. Acquired by bigger company 5 months ago.
There is a big project to merge the network.
Merge process can take 18 months. May get laid off once merge is done or may stay...nobody knows

Yes, I'd move, I don't care how nice the manager is.

Unless you don't want to do technical work, I'd take the new job for sure. If they want to keep you, you'll likely know at some point. Worst case you start looking for something new after a year or so, possibly get a higher salary again, wash, rinse, repeat.

When I read the title I thought you meant move to another city.

After reading this? I would jump ship ASAP, better to find a job when you have a job compared to job searching while unemployed.

    Same.

Moving cities has far more risks than your scenario. Make the move.

Agreed with everyone else here. Jump while you can. If you already have an offer on the table, take it. It is much easier to start anew now than wait to get laid off and then try to find a job.
