That is an excellent lab for the ccna. Even for the ccnp. But, you are not learning hardware. What your studying is how the ios works. So, the ios is the most important part. And, you haven't mentioned it or if you are able to get the ios to upgrade them if necessary.
The price on that lab is pretty reasonable, as long as your getting decent ios installed on them.

You do need to know some hardware for the exam. And you definitely need to know hardware in real life. A couple of incidental things I've learned by using real hardware: how to restore ios to a switch with a wiped flash via serial, how to load ios onto a router from rommon via FTP, how to password reset switch, router, asa, how to upgrade ios via TFTP, how to set up TFTP server, how to find and download ios images and verify with sha and md5, how to find which NM/WIC/VWIC etc works on a router, how to set up a terminal server card, where to source hardware cheaply.

All of those are relevant skills for working with actual hardware, which pretty much all your front line networking jobs will require.

Now as for price on that kit. Somewhere between 400 and 600USD seems ok.
