TSHOOT - Any Good Method on How To Approach The Simulation

Team - I came up short for the TSHOOT exam recently. I was confused on how the method was laid out. The sim did not allow me to do anything other than "Ping, sh run, sh ip eigrp, sh ip bgp sum and few other commands" I think I blew it because I was expecting to fix what was broken in the configs but, not so. Any ideas or methods on how I approach this exam without violating Cisco policy would be helpful.

Each ticket has three question in which you must identify the device that has an issue, the technology it is related to and the actual configuration fix.

The most useful command will be traceroute. It should help narrow down the device that has the fault.

Note that in the old version there was an abort button that would allow you to jump between tickets. You could then compare the configurations between tickets (which I think is a valid troubleshooting method) to help find the solutions. This feature does not exist in the new exam.
