CCIE as a business

Has anyone gotten CCIE or reached to CCIE level and doing your own business?

A coworker of mine does, she contracts at my current company 4 days a week and does other consulting on the side. She's been a consultant 25+ years though so not really sure how she got her start. Like any other business, you'd need to sell yourself, a lot. You'd also have to factor in what level of companies would need a CCIE level consultant, and how often do they need them? I can't imagine it would be really small businesses that need the infrequent hand, it would likely be the larger business that needs a specialist.

I run a consulting business that consists of solely my services and have my CCIE, but the business came first. It definitely has opened up new potential work, but nothing breathtaking, as the skills and experience were already there and usable. It doesn't hurt though.
