Zoho Mail reputation
I'm going to start using my own domain for email. At the beginning I thought in configure a mail server in my Synology or in my AWS instance, but after reading that there may be problems with the ISP, and with DKIM and SPF, I just change my mind and decided to host in somewhere else (I don't have time to be troubleshooting).
My first idea was Google, but 4€/month for an occasional email looks kinda overkilling for me. Then I found in Namecheap (my name registrar) an email hosting service for just 0.60€/month, which is more acceptable. But then another result showed up, Zoho Mail.
This Zoho Mail is free for up to 25 users, which is more than what I need. This "free" thing is what make me worry and the reason of this thread. Does anyone of you use or have used Zoho Mail? Have you ever had security-related problems? Like receiving spam or your sent messages received as spam by the destination? First results in a search for "zoho mail reputation" are not promising..

You can use your own domain name with Zoho and get free 25 mailboxes with 5GB/User as well as shared calendar and push email, so that's quite nice for the price of $0"I needed a password with eight characters so I picked Snow White and the Seven Dwarves." (c) Nick Helm -
thomas_ Member Posts: 1,012 ■■■■■■■■□□I've used Zoho mail with no problems. I haven't had any complaints except with how they handle the transition from the free accounts to paid accounts. You can have up to 25 users on a free plan for one domain. If you need to add a second domain then you have to go the paid route, at which point you have to pay for all of the users you were using or else stop using the accounts, completely ridiculous. Let's day you setup 5 accounts under one domain for free. You want to add a second domain, but you can't do that with the free tier so you have to pay for the premium account. Only catch is you have to pay for the six email accounts instead of just one for the second domain. I guess you can use another email address to make a new account to get around it, but I think it's still a stupid policy on their part.

CSCOnoob Member Posts: 120I used to use Microsoft's free email thing then they followed Google's decision of going paid version so I switched to Zoho Mail. I've been using it for at least 3 years and no issues. If there was any outages, I have not noticed it yet.
