This should be a no brainer but I'm at a small company right now as the one-man IT admin and looking to move back into telecom, the only problem is I've been in sys admin type roles for so long now that I dont think I can get the same salary by moving. Not sure what I should do? do I stay in sysadmin and just try to enjoy it lol or do I take the cut and move on?
Just a quick resume:
2005-2008 = IT Helpdesk/Contracts
2008-2010 - FTE Helpdesk
2010-2012 Telecom NOC (same company as FTE, 2010)
2012 - 2015 - MSP - Windows/Cisco
2015- Present - Sys Admin - Windows, Cisco, Linux
Making $70K here

kohr-ah Member Posts: 1,277I dont see why you wouldn't be able to get at least the same as you make now if not a bit more.
What area do you live in?
You are still doing some Cisco work right so you aren't totally out of the game. -

also CCNA / CCNA Voice both expired
