java for the simulations on this site

Hi all,

I was trying to check out the "basic router config sim" and found I had a missing plugin, error - No Java 2 SDK, Standard Edition v 1.4.2 support for APPLET!

So I installed java from suns website (the latest version 1.5). My browser is configured, java works, but the simulation still gives me the error:

No Java 2 SDK, Standard Edition v 1.4.2 support for APPLET!

Do I need to downgrade to 1.4.2 to make this work?

I'm using firefox 1.0.2 on Ubuntu 5.0.4 linux

Yeah same here, but I stopped trying.

Weird, I have 1.5 too and it works fine for me. Please try using IE just to check if that works.
