Have ICND1 100-101, can I wait and take ICND2 200-105?

I got my ICND1 100-101 about a year ago, but have been procrastinating on taking the ICND2. I still don't think I will be ready to take it before the exam changes to 200-105. Will I be able to take the 200-105 exam if I didn't take the updated ICND1 exam? And if I can, will that give me my CCNA? I hope my question makes sense. Thanks.
