Loopback Ospf and router ID?

do you need the included in the ospf network statements, so it well be advertised or participate in OSPF, for the Loopback be the router ID?

    If you want it to be in OSPF yes you have to add a network statement. Or enable on the interface depending on your IOS support for that. Also a good practice to make it passive.

    If you want the kickback to be advertised by ospf then yes it needs to be stated as a known route. If your just asking if the loopback needs to be advertised in ospf to become the router ID then no it does not. Just having the loopback int enabled (provided there is no router I'd set in ospf) will be good to go.

    This would be a good lab to do. Also use these command show ip protocol, show ip ospf neighbor, show ip ospf database. But it like Tman87 said and add one more thing it depends on the image as well.
