Tips for designing and implementing folder permissions on a AD environment
TheFORCE
Anyone has come across any white papers or any blogs that provide tips on designing and implementing folder permissions correctly on a windows environment. Our folder structure is a mess and I've been tasked to fix it.

I did that in the past, there were two or three documents on microsoft. I bet they are easy to find in any search engine.

folder permissions or folder hierarchy? permissions really aren't that hard. root folder, sub folders. groups whereever possible and solo accounts only if absolutely necessary. permissions inherit as much as possible. if the folder is set up well then it's usually pretty easy
