Hey Everyone!!
Its been awhile since I have been on the forums but gearing up now to take this Microsoft Specialist exam for Hyper-V/System Center Exam-74-409. I am just wondering how it will be since I am primarily a VMware person by trade going through the Hyper-V stuff, will it be easier or worse trying to learn a new way. Now its not like I have never used Hyper-V I def have in the field, I have set up plenty of Hyper-V hosts and did a little bit with failover clustering. Cracking the books today and will be going through the provided free MVA course for this exam. Anyone have any experience with this exam? Just curious if anyone had any other advice.
Thanks and wish me luck! I hope to have it completed by End of July or beginning of August!!

GBAKER2204 Member Posts: 91 ■■■□□□□□□□The 74_409 should be very straight forward based on the types of experience you mention. I used the MVA course and supplemented it by reading around the topics on the exam blueprint and found that was sufficient to enable me to pass. There are some free System Center books on the MVA site that may help with your studies.
I also used CBT Nuggets Private Cloud video sets 70-246 and 70-247 as I was studying for these before I found out about the 409.
Good luck.WIP: 2017 - VCP6.5-DCV (Achieved), VCAP6-DCV, Citrix CCA-V -
