Passed ICND1 100-101 this afternoon

Hi all,

I passed CCNA in about 2001 when it was a single exam and a lot easier. About 5 years ago, I reattempted it and ran out of time. (Failed).

3 weeks ago, on a whim I made a decision to work towards CCNP so I booked ICND1 for 3 weeks time.

I was real lazy with my study, watched some nuggets here and there and panic watched a lot more yesterday evening. Didn't feel ready (but in fairness I work with Cisco devices daily).

I passed with 992/1000 - and determined to study harder for future exams!

Going to book part two for a months time. It feels good to have started something I have been meaning to get on with for years.

I'll keep you updated!

    Congrats man!

Awesome score for not too much studying. You shouldn't have any problem with ICND2!

Hey all, so I passed ICND1 with great score, then about a month ago I failed ICND2 by about 2% icon_sad.gif

Whilst I was doing it I felt I had bombed real bad. So although I failed, I surprised I did so well!

The last day for this exam is next Saturday so out of the blue, having not studied at all for it, I booked it 2 days ago for tomorrow. Unprepared again, I am such a clown. The reason I am doing it tomorrow is because I *think*, worst case scenario I could still have an attempt on closing day a week later.

I studied wed evening, yesterday evening, tonight and I will do a few hours in the morning. The exam is at 11:15. Wish me luck! (or call me a doughnut for not studying more consistently!).

Passed ICND2 this morning. 847. Before the exam I was confident. During the exam, it felt like a disaster. I'm glad it's over.

Congrats on your pass! What CCNP exam are you going to tackle first?

    Thanks, fellas.

I have no idea Danny. Any recommendations as to which one to do first?

I was also thinking of CCNA Security but from reading, it seems the exam hasn't quite matured properly yet. Eventually, I'd like to go further into security but for now, I think CCNP would be the best idea.

Most people do Switch or Route first depending on what they are more comfortable with and leave T-Shoot for last.
