SSCP vs Sec+?

Reading over Sec+ now as I'm managing AirWatch in my environment and we are using it for our security and compliance tool. Is it better to get the Sec+ then the SSCP?

CISSPBURN
in long run,the CISSP is usefull and acknowledged by industry .if you will try for SSCP. You will be having solid base to CRACK the CISSP in future .

I got both Sec+ and SSCP. I did Sec+ first used Darril Gibsons book and CBT nuggets. SSCP i used Darril Gibsons AIO book. good Foundation for CISSP though like CISSPBURN was saying.

Skip Sec+ and do SSCP - same reason as above, it is a solid base for CISSP if you plan on taking it in future.
TheFORCE
Do the Sec+, then the SSCP.
Remedymp
Do the SY0-401 and then CISSP.

I would say depending your career goals, Are you in the goverment section? I think Sec+ has more recognization, In my area I ran a indeed search security+ had twice the results as SSCP. I would say do one of them not both to me its a waste of money to have two entry level security certs. do you meet the requirements to test for CISSP?
