superbeast Member Posts: 86 ■■□□□□□□□□I too have received the October e-mail. I appreciate the updates so we know what's going on, even if its just a "we're working on it" update.
In the mean time, I will take Cisco's advice and pat myself on the back -
NetworkNewb Member Posts: 3,298 ■■■■■■■■■□It appears everyone and their mom probably received the "October email", but... Can everyone verify they have on here please?

Hafssol Member Posts: 12 ■■■□□□□□□□It seems to me that they didn't think that whole scholarship thing through. Oh, Cisco...Certs: CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA Routing and Switching, CFR, Sec+, Net+

cyberguypr Mod Posts: 6,928 ModWhy would they? It's not like Cyber Security is one of the hottest things out there that everyone ones to get their hands on. Oh wait...

nopx90 Member Posts: 20 ■□□□□□□□□□Scored 90%. Good luck to everyone. Hopefully there are scholarships galore for everyone on Tech Exams.
Myself, I just don't want my CCNA to expire... hence the NEED for this cert. Learning objectives seem to line up better than the CCNA Security.... -
OctalDump Member Posts: 1,722So I got the October email. It seems that they will be using the assessment results to design the program. From the 'take your assessment' email, I got the impression that they would use the results to place similar cohorts together for the training. But the October email suggests that they still need to finish creating the training packages - which isn't a bad thing. I'd rather do the least amount of study possible, so a tailored training that means less time going over old ground is good with me.
So just another 6 weeks...2017 Goals - Something Cisco, Something Linux, Agile PM -

Pseudonym Member Posts: 341 ■■■■□□□□□□I get the feeling they might take the time completed into account to distinguish between people who had existing knowledge and people who just googled.
I did it closed book, finished in 9:20 and scored 21/30. My linux knowledge is lacking but I think I did okay. Fingers crossed.Certifications - A+, Net+, Sec+, Linux+, ITIL v3, MCITP:EDST/EDA, CCNA R&S/Cyber Ops, MCSA:2008/2012, MCSE:CP&I, RHCSA

This isn't an entrance exam to the NSA, or the actual certification test.
I think they are just trying to build a base of candidates. -

NetworkingStudent Member Posts: 1,407 ■■■■■■■■□□I received the following score:

71.39/100.00.
The test seemed pretty hard to me.

jacksonr Member Posts: 106 ■■■□□□□□□□Hi Guys,
Applied on the 8th of Sept and received an email saying that I will receive an email within 10 working days with my assessment.
Still have another few days but Cisco seem to be cutting it close.
Should I be worried?
Cheers -

We're all worried. You should be more so than us. You're not pretty like we are. -

Well, good for you. My mum never says anything to me. -
dmoore44 Member Posts: 646Don't remember when I signed up, but I just got the assessment email this evening. I finished the assessment in about 13 minutes and scored 28/30 (93.33).
If the exams use some of the same language as that assessment, there's bound to be some confusion. I had a question about what a default gateway was, and the answers made no sense; predictably, I got it wrong.Graduated Carnegie Mellon University MSIT: Information Security & Assurance Currently Reading Books on TensorFlow -
