Need advice

Currently working in help desk and trying to move within the company so I am learning powershell, and want to pick up windows server 2012 R2, and SCCM. My end goal however will be to someday move over to be a linux admin. Only reason I am not doing linux right now is because I would need to invest a bit to go that route.
