So I recently got offered a job as a Junior Communications Engineer, and I plan to accept. My first day will be on the 18th July. Has anyone got any tips? Or any do's and don'ts?

Thanks,

Ask questions!! If you don't know, don't nod your head and think it will go away as you will most likely encounter it one way or another. Also, don't go in there being a know it all! I can't stress that enough. Take notes as well as it will show you are paying attention and actually care about your job.

    Thanks,

Bring donuts. Not crappy chain donuts either. Real hometown donuts. (Unless there are only chain donuts available, then the order is Krispy Kream>Tim Hortons>Walmart>Things you find in a Dumpster>Dunkin).

Well ask questions, but don't ask questions that can easily be answered by google.

lol how the mighty have fallen...

Ask (good) questions, observe, volunteer, GET AFTER IT.

Check your ego at the door and listen to everyone willing to dispense advice.
