    Have you looked at some other job portals as well? I have had very good luck with www.dice.com

    I can't say I agree with your advise. Me and my co-worker got notice that we were getting laid off within a few months of each other. I spent everyday looking for work, networking, and had a another job lined up before my last day at work. My co-worker on the other hand thought getting laid off was great, he was going to take the summer off, enjoy getting paid for not working.... he was out of work for 14 months. My advise is Never take looking for another job when your unemployed lightly. While it's true employers tend to hire more than certain times of the year, you can land a new job anytime. I started my new job after being out of work for one week in August, 2013.
