Cisco Packet Tracer Help

I having and issue with switches on packet tracer. I have 2 pc connected to a switch. Interfaces on switch are down, even after using no shutdown command.

pc0 192.168.1.1/24, down
pc1 192.168.1.2/24 down

Works for me, are you using a straight through cable?

Also you shouldn't have to use the no shutdown on the CLI if you're only connecting the PCs.
