Creative but bad strategy IMO. Most IT pro's I know think of putting out fires as badly designed infrastructure. If that's the case, they should be looking for a parachute architect/engineer to fix what's causing the fires.

Parachuting has been very rewarding to my personal growth, extinguishing has been nothing but stress.
