Whats your goal?

I was just curious to see what your goal was in your career?

I talk with a lot of people and its always interesting to see why they are doing what they are doing and what they are doing it for.

Is it to buy new things?
Keep up with your parents?
Pay off this or that?

Salary is only part of it. It would take too long with salary only. Have multiple investment streams, but setting up kids' college funds is slowing me down a bit.

My goal is to provide as good of a life for my family as possible. While doing so making as much money as possible while keeping a healthy work - life balance. I could go into pre sales engineering or sales and make probably 30k more but that means more travel and less family time. It's about finding that right balance doing something you love.
