Office 365 Deployment - need help

Hi all,

My company of about 1000 users is doing PC lifecycle and as a part of the upgrade, we are considering Office 365 (to start with, word, excel, powerpoint. No exchange / outlook, nor onedrive.)
My boss wants this to be a smooth experience for the end user hence the following questions:

Is it possible / How to deploy office 365 without users having to go and make MS account?
The idea is for the end user to have an icon which they click and it opens whatever part of the suite, and they don't have to deal with any kind of sing up / sign in process.
Hopefully make use of SSO.

Any advice / references /how to's would be greatly appreciated.

I did bunch of googling but can't seem to find straight answers.

Group policies will be your friend also for this project to control the users so the SSO option is the only one presented when they open their shiny new office
