Does anyone know if there are any good guides on how to setup Call Manager with security in mind, any settings or items that i need to be aware of? Or are there any guides or documentation that i can look online at cisco specifically or at least related to the security piece of call manager? Any feedback is welcomed. Note that i have not worked with call manager before, what should i look for to get in terms or access or accounts that i will need to confirm call manager is setup the right way?

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/security/11_0_1/secugd/CUCM_BK_C1A78C1D_00_cucm-security-guide-1101.pdf
Be aware of this:
CUCM Security By Default and ITL Operation and Troubleshooting - Cisco
There's also this book: "Securing Cisco IP Telephony Networks (Networking Technology: IP Communications)"
Google as much as you can about "mixed mode".
This should get you going.
