DCD Member Posts: 475 ■■■■□□□□□□Change objective to a summary of you work and computer skills. On College of DuPage :Courses remove the courses. Make it one page. Move Certification above Education. If you have the CCNA list it under certification and I can't tell if you have it or not. I would probably drop the testout.com.

- Spelling: "TC/IP Protocols"
- What DCD said, I can't tell if you just took the training or passed those certs. Please clarify. If I can't figure it out in a few seconds, resume goes in the trash
- "Current Student" - that's not how it works. Tell me when you expect to graduate
- Fix several capitalization and spacing issues. Syntax also needs some serious work
BTW, how did you like COD? I keep coming across people who went there and speak highly of it. -

DCD Member Posts: 475 ■■■■□□□□□□First get a better recruiter because I would have file you resume in the blue filing cabinet (The garbage bin). You're resume is better but you still need to change the objective into a Summary of what you didat the Geek squad and at the high school. The employer doesn't care what you want they want to know what you have done and can do. Second fix your alignment and spacing also the fonts.

1) At the college of DuPage was you attending for a certificate, a degree, or just taking random classes for five years?
2) Do you have just A+?
3) Do you plan on pursuing other certifications? If so what is your roadmap to do so?
4) Granted your current job is in sales have you done any computer, network, or printer troubleshooting with your current employer as an additional duty?
I would also include the months you started and left those positions. If you have gaps you have gaps, but I would also look to smooth out the format of your resume. You can search Google for a different format considering your short experiences I would look at a basic resume. IMHO you don't need an objective it seems like space filler which isn't needed. If the potential employer is looking at your resume, I think they have a great understanding of where you are trying to go in life.
