GNS3 can't ping switch

I have dhcp setup on a router in GNS3 with my pc directly connected to a physical switch. I can ping the Internet but not the switch. What am I doing wrong?

how is the switches svi setup? ip address on the same subnet, default gateway set

A "show ip interface brief" or the configuration file would help. All we can tell from you statement is you misconfigured something.
