EDNS/PIX question

Does anyone know what the potential security ramifications of setting the allowable DNS packet size larger than 512 bytes on a PIX? Windows 2003 EDNS can send packets larger than that, I have seen up to about 633 bytes, and the PIX blocks those.

Thanks in advance,

Peter
