When you sit the above exam do you find out straight away if you have passed or failed or do you have to wait a number of weeks?

You find out pass/fail when you're finished. Then you get to go through the endorsement process if you passed. -

Correct
One thing I'd add is that you will get invited to the web portal and will have access to your digital certificate within a few weeks after endorsement.
