VCP 6 Exam question

Hello,
Please don't be mad if this has been already discussed. I wasn't able to find any relevant info..
In order to take the VCP exam, I only have to buy the Exam Voucher, like Microsoft sells their exams?
From what I was able to find, in order to take the exam you need to pay for VMWare's ridiculously expensive trainings.
Can't I just buy the exam voucher and take the exam without their trainings?
Thank you,
Marius

The cheapest option is to take the online course (vSphere 6.0: Install, Configure, Manage) at Stanly.edu.

Get on the waitlist, take the course, you get a discounted voucher to take the exam. -

Stanley is really cheap, i think a few hundred dollars. If you were to take the training elsewhere it's going to run you about $3,000. -
scott28tt Member Posts: 686 ■■■■■□□□□□You can also pay by credit card, a voucher is just a form of pre-payment - often paid at the same time as training fees.
Stanly (and other academic partners) issue you a special type of voucher for what's call the "PSE" version of the exams.
Take the training with VMware or a commercial partner and you'd pay for the exams via credit card or voucher.VCP2 / VCP3 / VCP4 / VCP5 / VCAP4-DCA / VCI / vExpert 2010-2012
