CEH vs C|EH why | ?

in CEH
What is the purpose of the "|" in C|EH?
I have seen both CEH & C|EH used. I am assuming C|EH is correct? why?

If you look at their list of certifications, the first initial of the certification precedes the | and the rest. Certified | Ethical Hacker, Computer | Hacking Forensic Investigator. What's confusing is some of their certs have their company name first. EC-Council | Certified Security Analyst, EC-Council | Certified Incident Handler. Oh well, consistency at its finest...Master of Business Administration in Information Technology Management - Western Governors University

Its the E-Commerce Councils preferred display. Outside of that, just personal preference. Everyone knows the value of the cert.

If you get run over don't forget the Council is to be blamed, not us. -

Given EC-Council's reputation, I think using quotes around ethical would be more accurate. C"E"H it is.
Think I'll start using | in all of my certs. C|ISSP, G|CIH - that actually looks pretty cool.Alphabet soup from (ISC)2, ISACA, GIAC, EC-Council, Microsoft, ITIL, Cisco, Scrum, CompTIA, AWS -

C|EH takes too long to type. Easy enough to just use CEH because everyone knows what I'm talking about. -

It means that you're either Certified, or you're an Ethical Hacker. -
