ASA in GNS3?

Hello everyone,
Has anyone successfully got an ASA to work in GNS3?
I spent the entire night but ASA8.4 just keep crashing for me when i run certain commands.

koz24 Member Posts: 766 ■■■■□□□□□□Might be crashing because of low memory. How much have you dedicated?

nickelito Member Posts: 54 ■■□□□□□□□□I gave it 2048 MB which should be sufficent... Its only crashing when I run "show interfaces" for some reason.
I read that its a common error and that it is recommended to run ASAv in gns3 nowadays, which i unfortunately dont have a license fore -

When i boot the ova it says something like "missing files". -

Gngogh Member Posts: 165 ■■■□□□□□□□The best way to use ASA in GNS3 is to use the ASAv, which can be deployed on VMware and integrated within GNS3.
