Proverbs 6:6-11Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest. How long will you slumber, O sluggard?
When will you rise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep, So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler And your need like an armed man.

As of a couple of years ago you need a passport to drive across the border. -

Yep, that is what I was thinking. I went to Niagara Falls in 2000 & only had to show my DL...to leave the US, you must have a passport.CompTIA A+, Network+, i-Net+, MCP 70-210, CNA v5, Server+, Security+, Cloud+, CySA+, ISC² CC, ISC² SSCP -

I'm Canadian so I can't help you on how to come over here and work.
I don't even know anyone who has done it. Generally it is the other way around. People from Canada move to the US to make more money and generally the cost of living is cheaper in the US for people with good jobs.
PaySacale.ca says a average System Administrator make between 40K-80K in Canada (30K-60K
USD and everything costs more here). Gas right how is about 1.05 a litre covered to USD and to a gallon that is $5.56 a gallon. Average house price $475K (more then double in Vancouver or Toronto).
There are certain positions under NAFTA that allow people to work across the border with little paper work. Like a Systems Analyst, Graphic Designer, Engineer, etc... , but if Trump gets in he says hes getting rid of NAFTA so you better hurry

They also have NEXUS cards.
But you can no loner just cross with a normal driver license you need some thing that proves your a citizen.
I never bothered with the enhanced or NEXUS cards. If i'm going to go through that trouble and cost why not just get a passport that can be used across the world and not just the US. The NEXUS card would be nice if you cross a lot as they have a separate lane at the border for people who have those cards. -

Oh, yeah...That is now available here, basically a smart chip in it, correct? My DL expires in Feb 2017, so I will probably get the enhanced version.
