This certification deserves a post in the Security Certification section as it might be lost for those of us who don't look for Cisco related stuff.


It seems to be a general cyber security certification. The topics seems to be definitely interesting:

seems to be exactly what one would need for a SOC/IR type jobs.

I applied for the scholarship and took the assessment 2 months ago relating to this new cert. Like others, I am still waiting to hear back from Cisco.

I think this cert aligns well with a network security analyst role

@CIO : I think this is a completely different certification. The scholarship is for CCNA cyber secops, but this a different one (albeit similar)

Can't say I have heard of that one before.

SCYBER definitely is separate from the SECOPS, though there appears to be some overlap. Might be worth looking into once I complete the eCPPT.

Speak of eCPPT - how is yours coming alone Unix? Don't think I have seen an update in some time.

@Mooseboost: I haven't even touched, I've had major changes in my life (including job change) and now im working on something completely different. Will come back to it in the right time
