Which cert next to get into IT Auditing
kabooter
I have CCNA RnS / CCNA Sec
I also am CCNP Sec.
I want to clear my CISSP exam ASAP but.....I like Auditing/management/Sales/Pre-sales etc. more than hardcore technical stuff.
There is one more problem - I need to find a job in above fields NOW, wont mind even a salary reduction. I just want to get into above mentioned fields so I can get my hands dirty with real life CISSP stuff.
I am in Toronto.
Can anyone please advise which cert I should target to get into IT audit etc. so that eventually I become CISSP/CISA "overload" ?:D
If you think I dont need more certs then what kind of positions I should be looking for to get into above mentioned fields?

Cisa for auditing. Then apply to audit jobs.

OK, I am starting with sec+ and then cissp and then cisa. I wonder if there is an easier one that I can slaughter before tackling cissp?

CISA first, followed by
SANS AUD566: Implementing and Auditing the Critical Security Controls - In-Depth (GIAC GCCC is the cert) if your employer will pay for it
CRISC is always a good option as auditing is all about risk, and CRISC is all about risk
