MAC_Addy Member Posts: 1,740 ■■■■□□□□□□My certification goals have changed over the past year. It was more focused on Microsoft Server stuff. However, I am now in a role to where I don't have to touch servers, AT ALL!!
So my goals are quite simply CCNA Wireless, Security, and then start on the NP track. On the NP track I'll start with routing and switching, and then move into more of a wireless/security road. We'll see when I get there. I did hear that NA:Wireless wasn't too bad of a test. Just as long as you understand it already.2017 Certification Goals:
CCNP R/S -
hiddenknight821 Member Posts: 1,209 ■■■■■■□□□□Met my goal for 2016 as I knew I'd only have the time and resource to complete the RHCSA with life keeps getting in the way.
As you guessed it, RHCE is my only cert goal for 2017. -

kbn0526 Member Posts: 6 ■□□□□□□□□□Was not planning on getting any certifications at the start of this year, but I accepted a new position earlier in the year which required CEH and CISSP within a certain time period. It felt good getting those two and I want to continue that into next year.
2016: Passed CEH and CISSP.
2017 Goals: MCSA Server 2012, ESRI ArcGIS Desktop Professional, ESRI Enterprise Geodata Management Professional. -

I know there's some overlap, but it'll solidify what I know since I'm not currently working in security, assure employers of the broad coverage of that knowledge and set me up for the next wrung of certs to follow.Completed: ITIL-F, A+, S+, CCENT, CCNA R|S
In Progress: Linux+/LPIC-1, Python, Bash
Upcoming: eJPT, C|EH, CSA+, CCNA-Sec, PA-ACE -

Freeguy Member Posts: 23 ■□□□□□□□□□Currently on my wishlist for 2017:
WCNA, to learn more about the underlying protocols and get better at packet analysis.
CWAP, to learn more about wireless analysis
CWDP, to learn more about wireless design (and finish up the CWNP program and get the CWNE)
To be honest, that's probably all I will have time for, considering that my work will probably want me to get the PCSNE as well. If I finish the above I'll resume my CCNP studies.
More importantly, I'm resolving to get more "screen-free" time next year -
Mooseboost Member Posts: 778 ■■■■□□□□□□Goals for 2017:
- MCSA: Server 2012
- Finish ECPPT
- This Cisco thing for the scholarship
Would like to pick up Linux+ or RHCSA but we will see. My company is switching products so they are pushing Fortinet certifications so I will end up picking up at least a couple of those. -

After that it's a little murky. I'd like to eventually get into security. I might go for the CEH. Also considering WGU or Champlain College for Masters. -

stryder144 Member Posts: 1,684 ■■■■■■■■□□I am hoping to complete the following next year:
1. CCNA Cyber Ops (May)
2. LFCS
3. C++ Certified Associate Programmer
4. MCSA: Windows 10 (probably before March, just depends)
5. MCSA: Linux on Azure (first part of the cert covered by No. 2)
Time permitting: CCNA R&S and CCNA Security
The only ones I have to do are CCNA Cyber Ops, LFCS (runs out in December), and possibly the MCSA: Windows 10 (might be a job requirement). The easiest thing to be in the world is you. EagerDinosaur Member Posts: 114I'm going to take the renewal exam for my MCSD Web certification before it expires. Apart from that, I've promised myself no exams in 2017. I feel need to concentrate on learning technologies that don't have certificates, such as Angular and NodeJS.

I'd like to make an amendment to this...
ICND2 (to renew my CCNA) taking in the first or second week of January.
CCNP Route ~ April time.
CCNP Switch ~ August time.
CCNP TShoot ~ November/December time.
That's what I have down for my goal, and it's on paper, so it has to happen!
After that I plan on going back and completing CCNA:Wireless and CCNA:Security. But my mind often changes like the wind, so it might change by tomorrow. I would just really like to push on for CCNP for next year.2017 Certification Goals:
