Humper Member Posts: 647I know RouterSim is absolute crap. Your best bet is getting a couple old 2500 series routers from www.ciscokits.com ....Usually a dual router kit will have everything you need....This is not advertising btw either, I just have bought stuff from them before. Now working full time!

The current least crappiest simulator is the Boson NetSim.
The CCNP NetSim will have the most functionality and be the least crappest when it finally gets out of beta (and proabably has had a few bug fixes).:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -
uksmurf Member Posts: 18 ■□□□□□□□□□I've used Boson and RouterSim - the former is easily better than the latter. RouterSim just seems to be very buggy and loads of commands are missing on it.
A while back I set up a nice simple point to point link on RouterSim, and was completely baffled when I couldn't ping either site - the config was perfect, but a bug stopped the ping - how can I have confidence in a product when something as simple as that doesn't work!
