Hi all,
Apologies if this is the wrong forum for this kinda thing.
Recently completed my ITIL foundation and now have a job interview in my company for an Incident Controller role.
I have no idea how to prep for this lol, if you guys could provide an insight or suggestions I would really appreciate it. I work in an ISP if this helps.
Thanks in advance.

scaredoftests Mod Posts: 2,780 ModResearch the company. What job position are you interviewing for? Go over whatever position you are applying for. Set up some questions for them in a notebook (don't forget to bring that with you). Include what you found out about the company.Never let your fear decide your fate....

It's an internal position
@OP, are you looking for interviewing advise? or what that type of role entails?"Hard Work Beats Talent When Talent Doesn't Work Hard" - Tim Notke -

Wrighty11xbl Member Posts: 24 ■□□□□□□□□□its for an incident controller job,
I work at an ISP and have started from tech support to ticket support to webchat and now customer relations (Tech complaints). Im pretty much just looking for advice on what I should know prior to going in.
Thankfully I know the interviewers as one of them is an old manager so he knows my work ethic but im still going to go in like hes a stranger. -
revbox Member Posts: 90 ■■■□□□□□□□I would expect questions about volatility of data and proper incident handling techniques, along with questions about prevention and mitigation techniques concerning business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance. Play up any experience you have doing any sort of incident handling along with risk management/risk mitigation.
