Hi guys,
can anyone explain to me , why when I run the below command, the Port status shows as Secure down?
I have not enabled security on the interface.
I understand the Secure - Shutdown status means that the interface was shut down due to a violation, but do not know why it's showning Secure-down currently.
The interaface also shows a UP/UP state.
Switch#show port-security interface fastEthernet 0/1 Port Security : Disabled

Looks like port security isn't enabled on the interface.

Thanks alot for the link.
So bascially it will always display secure down, if NO security has been enabled on the interface.
