Options for me

I don’t have a formal degree and neither do I have a formal IT background. In an audit/accounting firm, I initially started in financial audit but couldn’t excel much there. So I was moved to IT Audit. Now I have around 5+ years of IT audit experience including post-implementation reviews and IT related BPR assignments in the same firm. Now I have appeared for CISA and I am quite hopeful to get through with it.
Considering this, where do I stand if I desire to move out of the firm i.e. join the industry.
Your views are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What part of IT interests you? The easy answer is cyber auditing and project management but there are a lot of other areas as well depending on your interests.

If you have been doing IT audit for 5 years, you are in the IT field already. I'm sure there are things you have picked upfrom doing that.

If IT Auditing interests you, you can always get some certification in that. However, what type of role interests you?
