I don’t have a formal degree and neither do I have a formal IT background. In an audit/accounting firm, I initially started in financial audit but couldn’t excel much there. So I was moved to IT Audit. Now I have around 5+ years of IT audit experience including post-implementation reviews and IT related BPR assignments in the same firm. Now I have appeared for CISA and I am quite hopeful to get through with it.
Considering this, where do I stand if I desire to move out of the firm i.e. join the industry.
Your views are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
