Hi,

I dont have any IT degree or work experience but it has been 10 years since Im mingling with databases. I want a job but what certification should I take in which it will get me a job and a secure future?

    I'd search for "database administrator" or something similar on a job board website like monster or dice and look at what certs are being asked for in the job postings as a good baseline to begin.

    If you want to ride the wave look into the new database technology, such as NoSQL databases. Document databases and other unstructured databases are becoming more and more popular.

    While relational databases play a huge role they are only capable of handling 10 TB while document driven databases can scale endlessly, into the PB's.
