VCP-DCV 5 expiring

Hi guys,
Bit out of the loop on this so wondering if someone can help. my certification is expiring in May, do i need to resit the same exam, Resit the latest exam or just any VMware exam? My job role isnt quite the same anymore, maybe something along the lines of VM horizon would be more suited.

The policy gives you three ways to recertify:
Advance to the next level by earning a VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) certification. For example, if you are a VCP6-DCV you could earn VCAP6-DCV Deploy certification.

Pass the current exam for your existing VCP certification solution track. For example, if you are a VCP5-DCV, you could take the current (VCP6-DCV) exam.

Earn a new VCP certification in a different solution track. For example, if you are a VCP-Cloud, you could recertify by earning VCP6-DTM certification.

OK, I just need to ask this question. I hope is not too dumb

I have a VCP55-DCV that's about to expire in Sept 2017). Can I take the VCP6-DCV instead of the Delta exam? The reason is that I have a coupon from Stanly where I took the VCP6 Optimize and Scale class but I can only use it for the vcp6 class and not the Delta.
