Passed CCSP

I took and passed the CCSP this morning.

For study materials, I used the ISC2 book and the flashcards. I also read the CSA pdf a few months ago.

I don't think the flashcards helped much, and the book was poorly written and organized.

Time-wise, I was done in less than 2 hours, with about 15 review questions.

Thanks for the information? How long did you study? (Months / Weeks)

I got the book last January, and browsed through it. I reread the book again in August/September, and then I read the flashcards almost every day in October/November. I reread the book over the Christmas holidays and then took the test.
I also reread the CSA pdf sometime in October.

The paper flashcards are the same as the definitions at the end of every chapter, as as in the Quizlet app.

    Hi Pleiaden,

Do you think it's realistic to go through the material in 2 months and being ready for the exam?
I've pass the cissp about 6 months ago, it took me a long time to study, but I feel like the CCSP is partly a review after the CISSP. Am I wrong?

    Thanks

And that is what bothers me about these exams. I'm not sure who they're consulting or where they're getting their content from. It just seems kind of inconsistent.
