Mike-Mike Member Posts: 1,860I have the Gear S2 classic and thinking about getting the S3 frontier or classic, not sure yet. I own 2 fossils and 4 G-Shocks with a bunch of other watches I don't know the name of.
i also have the S2 Classic, and I was all ready for the S3 Frontier, and then I saw random posts on AndroidCentral's forums saying they scratched their Frontiers. No one had any issues (that I saw) with the classic. So I'm probably going to get a Classic againCurrently Working On

Mooseboost Member Posts: 778 ■■■■□□□□□□I wear a first generation Apple watch. It isn't something I would normally go out and purchase on my own but it was a gift from my spouse. Initially I thought that it wouldn't be something I found useful but after getting used to I feel naked when I don't have it on.

Same here, though I really don't like the band as that plastic gives me some rashes and am actively looking for replacement. -

People have tried to sell me on the smart watch idea but for me it's not that difficult to check my phone occasionally -
Devilsbane Member Posts: 4,214 ■■■■■■■■□□Garmin Fenix 3 HR. Hybrid GPS and smart watch all in one that I wear 24/7.Decide what to be and go be it.

EagerDinosaur Member Posts: 114I rarely wear a watch these days, I'm almost always within centimetres of a device of some kind that can tell me the time.
I was thinking of buying an Android-based smart watch, but then I found out that they use different APIs and frameworks to Android phones/tablets, and there aren't enough hours in the day to learn yet another development framework.
When I'm running I wear a Garmin Forerunner 10, which is great, with a UI that was clearly designed for operation by brains that are suffering from a lack of oxygen and sugar. -

chanakyajupudi Member Posts: 712I used to wear a Fitbit Charge HR but have now upgraded to a Casio Smart Outdoor Watch. Slightly big but works for me. I tried getting a Moto360 2nd Gen but Moto cancelled my order for unknown reasons. I intend to get the Tag Heuer Second Generation watch when it comes out.Work In Progress - RHCA [ ] Certified Cloud Security Professional [ ] GMON/GWAPT if Work Study is accepted [ ]

Master Delgado Member Posts: 15 ■■■□□□□□□□I never knew about the grey market when I bought my first "grail" watch - an Omega Seamaster from an AD. I would consider grey market sites like Creation Watches/Sky Watches/Jomoshop for deals on beater to mid-tier watches. Nothing beats saving up and going for the AD experience.

What do you consider mid-tier watches? $3-5K MSRP? I have my eyes on ~$8K MSRP watch from IWC that is selling around $5.5K from Jomashop. Just can't pull the trigger yet. AD quoted me around $7.1K but didn't bother to negotiate yet coz I wasn't ready to pull the trigger. -
Judderman88 Member Posts: 56 ■■■□□□□□□□Most days, an Invicta Grand Diver. But my dress watch is a Tissot PRC 200. And a G Shock for outdoor/dirty work

Master Delgado Member Posts: 15 ■■■□□□□□□□What do you consider mid-tier watches?
Sorry for late reply. Personally by beater and mid-tier I was referring to the likes of Seiko/Hamilton/Tissot. Nothing wrong with these brands (I have owned 3 Seikos so far). IWC/Tudor is top shelf territory. Sadly most watch makers don't make very many men's mid-size watches (below 40mm diameter) which leaves people like me having to research and hunt high and low. Having said that the biggest watch I have is my beater Luminox 3001 which is 45mm. -
kriscamaro68 Member Posts: 1,186 ■■■■■■■□□□I love watches and have/had several but finally settled on the G-shock Rangeman. Now I don't wear anything else.

jstock Member Posts: 21 ■□□□□□□□□□I'm huge into watches! I will wear one most days, unless I know I will be doing something that could possibly damage a watch. My collection mostly consists of Citizen, Bulova, Nixon and a Movado.

wd40 Member Posts: 1,017 ■■■■□□□□□□I have a Gear S2 and thinking about getting a Gear S3 Frontier or a small Garmin fenix 5 when it becomes available.
Before that I wore a titanium Seiko analog-digital watch (I think it is 10 years old now).
So for the last few months I was thinking about getting a Garmin 935, but it was too big (or maybe I am small )
Then I saw the fenix 5(s) last week, and bought one today .
